States Fail To Protect Children Against Sex and Human Trafficking: Virginia One of the Worst.


Washington DC (57.5), Maryland (58.5), and Virginia (43.5) are among the worst states for protecting children against sex and human trafficking.  As state-by-state study by Shared Hope International, shows the both enforcement and tools are lacking in many states.

It is time for the US to get serious about protecting its children.   It is time for the US to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child — and join the rest of the world.
