D.C. man Indicted in 13 Year Old Daughter’s death


(From the Washington Times): A Northwest Washington man has been indicted on 24 charges in connection with an attack last fall in which authorities say he killed his 13-year-old daughter and wounded two other people, U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen Jr. said Wednesday.

The grand jury indictment in D.C. Superior Court against Robert Carter, 40, includes one count of first-degree premeditated murder while armed in connection with the Oct. 29, 2010, death of his daughter, Angel Morse. She was shot in the head and found inside her residence in the 500 block of Madison Street Northwest.
